Plot:
Nami, who transferred from Jeolla Province, was terrified by everything around her, especially her dialect, which was laughed at by the school hooligans on the first day. At this time, several girls appeared in time to protect this new and silly girl. They are Chunhua, who has the demeanor of a big sister, Rose who spared no effort to get double eyelids, literary girl Jinyu, Fuxi who dreams of becoming Miss Korea, domineering ice beauty Suzhi and foul-mouthed Jinxi. Seven girls formed the singing group Sunshine, trying to compete with the equally powerful group Girls' Generation, hoping to make a big splash in the school performance. Unexpectedly, an accident caused the group of seven princesses to disintegrate. 25 years later, Nami, who has become a wife and mother, suddenly felt that something was missing in her life. One day, she met Chunhua, one of the members of Sunshine. Both of them were very happy and decided to look for other members. More than 20 years have passed, and the girls of that year are now middle-aged. They have their own different lives. What will it be like to get together again? Behind the ScenesWhen Melody Meets MemoryRegarding the inspiration for shooting "Sunny", director Jiang Jiongzhe said that it came from a photo of his mother when she was young. The mother in the photo is in her prime, and her smile is full of infinite youth and possibilities. So Jiang Jiongzhe thought why not shoot a nostalgic warm women's drama, where several former girlfriends accidentally reunite and reminisce about their fleeting years. After the concept was determined, Jiang Jiongzhe started writing the script. Previously, his "Speeding Scandal" was called a dark horse, setting an unexpected box office of 8.5 million. Jiang Jiongzhe has a good sense of business, but he never sensationalizes for the box office. His scripts are popular and entertaining, but they can definitely condense warm and profound themes. In his creative concept, humanistic care always occupies a dominant position. At the beginning of writing, a large number of popular songs from the 1980s emerged in Jiang Jiongzhe's mind, which made him more convinced of the timeliness of the work. With the help of art and scenery, he designed many scenes reflecting the 1980s, including the classic Lotte Cinema, YMCA building, giant billboards, etc. In terms of actor costumes, Taobao Women's Clothing also put a lot of effort, from clothing styles, color matching, to the choice of hairstyles, basically following the popular fashion of the time, such as flared jeans, etc. Although the well-known producer Jin Junzhi was invited to the background music, he was not fighting alone. Jiang Jiongzhe almost participated in all the song selection work, including several 1980s era songs that lingered in his ears during the script writing stage. In terms of music, Jin Junzhi also adhered to the most popular style of the 1980s. Although it sounds outdated today, it is undoubtedly a time reappearance for the audience who have gone through that era. Jiang Jiongzhe blatantly played a nostalgia card this time. In fact, since the recent boom of the guitar driven by "Good Friends", nostalgic dramas of the times have become a popular theme for stage plays, and have appeared in "I Am a Singer", "The Birth of a Great Man", "Concert 7080", and "Gwanghwamun Love Song" reflecting the late composer Lee Young-hoon, all of which have become the collective memories of a generation. Out of deep feelings for the 1980s, Kang Hyung-chul set the story background in the present and 25 years ago in 1986. Kang Hyung-chul joked that this is a 2M movie, and the so-called 2M refers to Melody Memory. Melody often easily brings out people's memories of the past, and conversely, memories are always full of melody. Behind the scenes: The film was rated as unacceptable for teenagers by the Korean Film Rating Committee because of a large number of straightforward violent and stimulating shots and swear words, but after re-editing and adjustment, it was rated for 15-year-olds. · Cha Tae-hyun, Park Bo-young, Wang Seok-hyun, Choi Ji-woo, Joo Jin-mo, Lee Tae-ran, Jung So-min, Jo Kwon, Yoo Seung-ho, Song Jong-ki, Noh Min-woo, Lee Jong-suk, and others who worked with the director in "Speeding Scandal" were invited to attend the VIP preview before the film was released. · Min Hyo-rin gave her first screen kiss in the film, and the object was Kim Si-hoo, who had played a sister-brother relationship with Lee Young-ae in "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance". · Park Jin-joo, who played Jin-hee, was also troubled by the satisfaction of swearing. She admitted that she was the class monitor in high school.
