The story takes place in a bookstore called "BOOKS Horse Bones" located in Japan's electrical street. Kaixiong (voiced by Ryota Oosaka) and Kohi (voiced by Takamori Nazumi) are the clerks. Kaixiong is responsible for selecting comics and games suitable for customers, but Kohi knows very little about it. On the surface, Kaixiong is very ordinary, but in fact, in his heart, he is burning with passion for the two-dimensional world. Every day, countless people come in and out of the bookstore, and even the clerks working in the bookstore are "weird" and "freaks" that attract attention. The teacher with a dual personality of the doujin manga artist (voiced by Minami Tsuda), the weak-looking and violent Fu Niu (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu), the light novel writer Tsumori (voiced by Satomi Sato), etc. These strange and cute otakus weave a colorful and gorgeous picture on the electrical street.
