The film is based on a true story that happened in a mental hospital in Michigan in 1959: psychiatrist Milton Rokeach (Richard Gere) conducted a controversial experiment on three schizophrenia patients who believed they were Jesus Christ. Julianna will play the doctor's wife, while the three mentally ill patients will be played by "Little Devil" Peter Dinklage, Bradley Whitford and Walton Goggins respectively.
