Plot:
The story begins fifteen years ago. Inamura Koharu (Tanaka Yuko) had a very unhappy marriage. Her husband was an out-and-out alcoholic and violent. When this man tried to vent his violence on their three children, Koharu, as a mother, could no longer bear it and sit back. In order to protect the children, she killed her husband with her own hands and went to jail, which changed the fate of the Inamura family. Fifteen years have passed in a flash, and the children of the Inamura family have grown up. The eldest son, Daiki (Suzuki Ryohei), has repeated the mistakes of his mother's failed marriage and is fighting with his ex-wife for custody of his daughter. The second son, Yuji (Sato Takeru), wants to be a reporter, but now he can only make a living by doing odd jobs in a magazine. The youngest daughter, Sonoko (Matsuoka Moyu), had to give up her dream life because of her mother's imprisonment and became a bar waitress. When Koharu is released from prison and returns to her children, will their broken relationship have a chance to be repaired?
