Plot:
Mark (played by Chow Yun-fat) and Zhimin (played by Tony Leung) are cousins. They are both overseas Chinese in Vietnam and are now developing in Hong Kong. Unexpectedly, the Vietnam War broke out. Both of them were very worried about the safety of Zhimin's father, Uncle Song, who still lived in Saigon, Vietnam. In order to raise enough money to bring Zhimin's father to Hong Kong, the two decided to help the local gangs smuggle arms to Vietnam. Unexpectedly, they were ambushed by Sangbang in Vietnam. Fortunately, at the critical moment, the girlfriend of the Hong Kong gang boss Yingjie (played by Anita Mui) rescued them in time, and the two survived. After the three people who escaped the disaster spent a happy time in Saigon, Yingjie bid farewell to the two. Then Mark and Zhimin successfully took Uncle Song back to Hong Kong. After returning to Hong Kong, the two lived a stable and peaceful life, but they never heard about the news of their benefactor Yingjie. Suddenly one day, Yingjie appeared, and the reunion made the three very happy. However, a disaster is also quietly approaching...
