In the 1960s and 1970s, the two developed countries, the United States and the Soviet Union, conducted a military competition that shocked the world. In order to win air supremacy in the future Star Wars, the two countries successively sent astronauts into outer space. On the American side, 17 spacecraft were launched to the moon before 1972, but Apollo 18 was urgently stopped on the eve of the flight.
