The film is adapted from Kate DiCamillo's novel of the same name (which won the Newbery Children's Literature Award), and revolves around the story between a little girl and a squirrel with super powers. Director Lina Khan (Tiger Hunter) and screenwriter Brad Copeland (Bull Adventures).
