A young deaf-mute boy (Danny Murphy) befriends a fugitive criminal who takes refuge in an abandoned barn on his family's farm. As their relationship deepens and the authorities close in on their investigation, the boy must decide whether to continue to advocate for him or stand on the side of justice.
