Plot:
Four years after the spin-off Private Practice ended, ABC booked another Grey's Anatomy spin-off Station 19 in May last year, which is now scheduled to premiere on March 22, US time. Produced by Shondaland and written by Grey's Anatomy producer Stacy McKee, the spin-off is set in the Seattle Fire Department and tells the story of a group of brave firefighters, from captains to rookies, who risk their lives to save the people. Jaina Lee Ortiz plays the heroine Andy Herrera of the spin-off, and Dr. Ben Warren (Jason George), the character of Grey's Anatomy, will continue to appear in the parent series before moving to the spin-off. Grey Damon plays Deputy Fire Captain Jack Gibson, Okieriete Onaodowan, Danielle Savre, Barrett Doss and Jay Hayden play firefighters Dean Miller, Maya Bishop, Victoria Hughes and Travis Montgomery respectively. Miguel Sandoval plays Fire Captain Pruitt Herrera, and Alberto Frezza plays Police Officer Ryan Tanner.
