Plot:
After five years, the talented director Atsuhiro Yamashita once again worked with the genius screenwriter Kankuro Miyato for the first time, and joined hands with the handsome man and beautiful woman Masaki Okada and Kayano Kiyohara to adapt the 2020 popular Taiwanese film "The Lost Valentine" into a Japanese version. The two made drastic changes to the original setting, moved the stage to Kyoto, swapped the male and female roles, and told a brain-opening and touching time-lag love story between a man who is always half a beat faster than others and a woman who is always half a beat slower than others. While the film accurately reproduces the theme of the original work, the beautiful scenery of Kyoto, the unique rhythm of Yamashita, and the witty humor of Miyajiu give the film a unique temperament and charm.
