Plot:
Genius and madman are often just two descriptions of the same person. Detective Chen Guibin (played by Lau Ching-wan) is such a character. Like the genius painter Van Gogh, he once cut off his ear. Despite solving countless cases and having extraordinary detective skills, he was eventually regarded as a madman by the secular world and retired from the police station early. Detective Ho Ka-on (played by Andy On) received a difficult case. The crime scene was in the woods.
