The story tells the story of Django Reinhardt, a famous French guitarist, fighting against the Nazis who occupied Paris during World War II (he and his family belonged to the Sinti tribe who were persecuted by the German Nazis). Reinhardt's ring finger and pinky finger on his left hand were partially disabled due to a fire accident in his early years, but he became a legend in the French jazz world and a representative of gypsy swing music.
