The Qimen Sect and the Five Poison Sect are the two major sects in the Jianghu. The two sects each use their own methods to "who will be the royal dragon seed", and accidentally expose the conspiracy of the emperor's uncle who intends to make the emperor (played by Chen Haomin) have no heirs and wait for him to die before sitting on the throne. The uncle sent Xiuming (played by Zhen Qi), a disciple of the Five Poison Sect who lurked beside the queen (Hu Ran), to try to poison the heir, but Xiuming was insidious and cunning and had other intentions. He was not loyal to the uncle and took the opportunity to seek personal gain. On the contrary, Duomei (played by Qiu Yinong) of the Qimen Sect is kind and carefree. She is always happy to turn danger into safety. She has no attachment to power and is attracted by the handsome and brave cute and stupid straight male guard Taiyang (played by He Haowen). The two work together to resolve the chaos of the uncle, not loving fame and fortune, and happily wandering around the world.
