Plot:
Billionaire Eric Benirall (played by Sam Neill, who has starred in "Jurassic Park" and "The Horse Whisperer") leads a team of unknown scientists to try to uncover the mystery of his freighter's shipwreck in Bermuda. Created and executive produced by Bryan Singer (X-MEN), Dean Devlin ("Independence Day" and "Godzilla"), Rockne S. O'Bannon ("Galaxy Return" and "Alien Empire"), the screenplay for the film version was also completed. "Bermuda Triangle" was broadcast as a TV series on the SciFi channel from December 2005. In the play, Eric Stoltz plays Howard Thomas, a cynical tabloid reporter; Sam Neill plays shipping tycoon Eric Benirall; Lou Diamond Phillips plays Meeno Paloma, the only survivor of the shipwreck, who unfortunately lost some of his memory; Catherine Bell plays deep-sea resource engineer Emily Patterson; Bruce Davison plays a psychic; Stan Lathem plays an adventurous professor of meteorology.
