Plot:
The film meticulously depicts how a woman who has forgotten her identity wavers between self-denial and reality. Hannah is an ordinary domestic worker who attends acting training classes in her spare time and has a dog at home. Her life seems simple and peaceful, but no one knows that she is actually living a broken life: her husband is in prison, her son refuses to recognize her, and strangers keep harassing her... Hannah bears the consequences alone. She constantly refuses to accept the truth, and her real life is falling apart. One day at work, Hannah accidentally heard that there was a stranded whale on the beach. She asked for leave and left work early and came to the beach alone to watch the lonely and helpless whale for a long time. Through Hannah's exploration of her broken identity and the loss of self-control, the film explores the alienation of the current era, the dilemma of emotional connection, and the dividing line between personal identity, interpersonal relationships, and social pressure.
