Plot:
This film is adapted from historical events. Compared with the 1956 version starring Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner (the hero and hero), it reinterprets the famous love story between the widowed British teacher Anna Leonovan and the King of Siam (the old name of Thailand). In the 1860s, Anna (Jodie Foster) came to Siam with her son and became a tutor in the family of the king (Chow Yun-fat) who had many wives and children. At first, due to the different customs and cultures, Anna encountered many seemingly insurmountable difficulties, and the king treated her like a "barbarian". As the two got to know each other better, although there were still many discords, they gradually won mutual respect and sparks of love collided.
