The story takes place in a large law firm in Boston. Aaron Saul (James Spader) is eccentric and rebellious by nature, and does things in an unconventional way. He is not only a battle-hardened gold medal lawyer, but also a humorous man full of justice and compassion. He shines brightly both in life and in court; Danny Klein (William Shatner) is the most senior partner of the firm. He has won more than 6,000 lawsuits in his life. Now he is troubled by Alzheimer's, but he does not admit his old age and does not think he is sick. A pair of clowns meet together and often make eccentric moves, which makes Shirley Schmidt (Candice Bergen), the head of the firm, headache.
