This work tells the story of Hana (played by Satomi Kobayashi) and Toki (played by Mikako Ichikawa), who used to live in Tokyo, and their friends, who started living in the countryside. They gradually got used to working in the fields every day, but were troubled by rats, so they welcomed a new family member - a cat named Tom. Even though they were always tormented by the naughty Tom, they finally lived happily together.
