In the bustling international metropolis of Tokyo, Japan, lives Yumiko Osawa (Sachiko Kokubun), a successful woman who runs a design company, in a luxury apartment in the city center. She has been smooth sailing in life and career, but she has been troubled by strange experiences since some time. Recently, people often ring her doorbell, ask without getting a response, and look through the door mirror to see if there is a figure outside.
