The story follows Greg (Wilson), a recently divorced man, who meets the charming Isabel (Hayek). Isabel lives on the streets and believes that this polluted, run-down world is not real. She believes that this ugly world is the interior of a beautiful, peaceful, "real" paradise. Greg is skeptical at first, but he eventually finds that the theory makes a lot of sense.
