Plot:
In 1999, Broome, Australia. Australian young man Bane (Nathan Phillips) and two British girls Chris (Kestie Morassi) and Liz (Cassandra Magrath) drove to Wolf Creek National Park for a visit. After two days of travel, the car finally reached its destination through the desolate Australian no-man's land. The joy brought to the three by the huge meteorite crater was fleeting. When the three wanted to drive back, they found that the car broke down. Late at night, a kind man Mike (John Jarratt) appeared and promised to take them back to his camp and help them repair the car for free. Mike took the three young people to an abandoned mine, and the three fell asleep quickly in Mike's hearty laughter. When Liz woke up, she found herself locked in a warehouse with her hands and feet tied up. When Liz broke free from the rope and tried to escape, Chris's painful screams came from the next room. Chris was being abused by the "kind man" Mike. At this time, Bane is missing, and Liz must try to rescue Chris. In a remote mine in central Australia, the wonderful journey of three young people turned into a horrible nightmare... This film is adapted from the "backpacker murder case" that occurred along the Hume Highway in Australia at the end of the last century.
