20 years ago, a woman named Tracy (Kt Fanelli) was possessed by a demon. The local church organized an exorcism ceremony, but the ceremony failed. The two priests who participated in the ceremony died. The only survivor was Tracy's son who was filming at the time. In a blink of an eye, 20 years later, Brandon (Chris Minor) and his classmate Clay (Jake Brinn) chose this failed exorcism incident as their homework. The two found the exorcism videotape of the year and came to Tracy's hometown, where they decided to restart the séance ceremony and broadcast it online. In the end, the séance ceremony failed, but what Brandon and Clay did attracted the attention of a local cult. Afterwards, Brandon was shocked to find that Tracy was actually his mother. Soon, Brandon became the object of evil spirits.
