Plot:
Hao Dong (Huang Xuan) talked about his painful experience of insomnia while listening to a midnight radio program. Hao Dong's girlfriend, radio DJ Yifan (Fiona Sit), began to provide psychological counseling for him. But Hao Dong told her about his nightmare: a woman with long hair in white clothes (Zhou Chuchu) fell from a tall building, which made it difficult for him to sleep. What's more frightening is that his childhood memories of Jiuli Village, although fragmented, are chilling. At that time, in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, a couple came to Jiuli Village to support the agricultural production and construction of the village. The husband was named Jianguo, an expert in hybrid rice, and his wife was named Luo Xiaoyue. Not long after arriving in the village, Jianguo died of electrocution due to going down the river, while Xiaoyue was harassed by the mentally retarded brother of the village chief. Later, Xiaoyue was killed with a hatchet at night. During the police investigation, it was found that the mentally retarded brother was the biggest suspect, but because he was mentally ill, he was not punished. 20 years later, Hao Dong returned to Jiuli Village and lived in his uncle's house. He encountered a series of creepy and strange scenes. As he uncovered the truth step by step, he also fell into the memory of the murderer's murder. The old past was like a scar being uncovered, and the truth was jaw-dropping...
