"Let's Beat the Japs" tells the story of 1938, when Guiyang became a strategic location after the Kuomintang Nanjing government moved west to Chongqing. In order to open up the southwest passage, the Japanese army sent a small team to the hinterland of Guizhou to steal intelligence, which triggered the heroic resistance of Guizhou's ethnic minorities against Japan.
