Chu Yijian (Huang Haoran) lost his parents when he was young and was an orphan without any support. An experience in his childhood made him determined to become a constable, and he finally fulfilled this dream. Chu Yijian's sharpness in the workplace made the head constable Cheng Yingxiong (Yang Ming) very unhappy, so he took advantage of his position to deliberately instruct Chu Yijian to hunt down the vicious Yin Tianbang (Mai Changqing), hoping that this trip would make Chu Yijian suffer. Afterwards, Chu Yijian met the female thief Huanxi (Huang Cuiru). The two people with opposing identities were like enemies in their previous lives.
