Rose is a sweet, small town driving instructor who has supernatural abilities, "The Gifts", which mean she can talk to the spirit world. After seeing what they did to her father Vincent, Rose has a love-hate relationship with her abilities and tries to ignore the constant stream of petty spiritual requests from the locals - haunted dumpsters, tractors, kids' bikes, frying pans, and more. However, when her help is requested by Sarah, a teenage father, Martin, who is haunting his late nagging wife, she is very tempted...Martin seems like a really nice guy! Meanwhile, in a large castle outside of town, Christian Winter, a washed up rock star, has a sinister plan to sell his soul for a new one...
