Plot:
Qingdao Manufacturing, a mid-sized precision instrument manufacturer, has achieved rising sales with its independently developed image sensors, but in the process of gradually climbing to the peak of glory, it has also encountered unprecedented storms. The young and promising president, Mitsuru Hosokawa (played by Toshiaki Karasawa), has been questioned by veteran cadres at home and has been harassed by loan banks outside. To make matters worse, the rival company Gorin Electric colluded with the president of Japanix, a customer of Qingdao Manufacturing, Kiyofumi Morita (played by Teruyuki Kagawa) to launch a merger and acquisition roundup against the precarious Qingdao Manufacturing. In the face of difficulties, Hosokawa proposed a number of rectification measures, including abolishing the company's baseball club with an annual maintenance fee of 300 million yen. The Qingdao baseball club, which once created glory, has now become a losing team. Although the president of Qingdao (played by Tsutomu Yamazaki) hired a powerful coach, Masami Dodo, it is still difficult for the team to easily escape the fate of being abolished. A huge wave, this is a story of a man who runs all out for his ideals and destiny... This film is adapted from the original work by Jun Ikedo.
