Remy (Maleaume Paquin) lost his parents and became an orphan since he was a child. When he was 10 years old, his greedy adoptive father sold Remy to street artist Vitalis (Daniel Auteuil) for a little bit of profit. In this way, young Remy began his wandering performing career with Vitalis and his circus. Fortunately, Vitalis is a kind man who sympathizes with Remy's unfortunate experience.
