Plot:
"Unsolved Cases 2: The Door of Truth" is a remake of the popular American TV series of the same name. The first season was broadcast on wowow in 2016. It tells the story of the investigation team of the female detective played by Yoshida Yoshi, who is investigating unresolved cases and getting closer to the truth step by step. The original cast of the second season has reunited, and with the luxurious guest performance lineup and large-scale production, the unique sense of the times and the heavy case theme of Japan have attracted a lot of attention. One day, a skeleton was dug up in the basement of a university. Detectives Yuri Ishikawa (Yoshida Yoshi) and Shinjiro Takagi (Kento Nagayama) of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Investigation Division 1 went to the scene and joined Toru Kaneko (Ken Mitsuishi) and Daisuke Tachikawa (Kenichi Takito) who arrived earlier. Through the student ID card on the body, it was confirmed that the victim was named Seiji Hashimoto (Kaitu Yoshimura), and his whereabouts were unknown after participating in the Yokosuka riot in 1971, when students and mobile teams clashed violently. Not long after that, a person named Emi (Kaoru Okukuni) who claimed to be Hashimoto's daughter came to the Investigation Section. Emi said that Hashimoto and her mother were radicals when they were students. Emi and her mother received a sum of money every year from someone who looked like Hashimoto. Deputy Section Chief Motoki Hidetoshi (Tomokazu Miura) and the members of the investigation team agreed that this person was still hiding somewhere, and then noticed that the envelope for sending the money was stamped with a foreign postmark. Because the time spent abroad exceeded 30 years, there may be a situation where the statute of limitations for the disappearance case does not apply, so an investigation was launched. @m.yakutv.cc
