Plot:
In a certain year of the Qing Dynasty, barefoot boy Kwan Fung-yiu (Aaron Kwok) went to the provincial capital alone. He was penniless and could only rely on his kung fu and his father's old friend Duan Qingyun (Ti Lung) in the dyeing workshop "Four Seasons Weaving". The situation in the provincial capital was quite unstable. The owner of the Tianlongfang, Ka Hebu (Tsang Kong), dominated the area with his bannerman status, and the arena for selecting servants and thugs was bustling. The new county magistrate Yuan Tianyou (Eric Cheung Siu-fai) and the teacher (Paul Chun) wanted to eradicate Ka Hebu, but they had no way to do it because their roots were unstable. Kwan Fung-yiu met the owner of the Four Seasons Weaving, Bai Xiaojun (Maggie Cheung), and the daughter of Yuan Shi, Xiaolian (Jacklyn Wu), on the road, and finally met Duan Qingyun. It turned out that Duan Qingyun changed his name to hide in the dyeing workshop to avoid being hunted down, and fell in love with Bai Xiaojun. Ka Hebu schemes to annex Sijizhi. Guan Fengyao cannot bear it any longer and goes to his house, but is subdued and used by Ka Hebu. Yuan Tianyou is frustrated again and again in his fight with Ka Hebu, and threatens Duan Qingyun to fight Ka Hebu. Guan Fengyao rushes to rescue him, but it is too late...
