This drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Kirino Natsuo. It tells the story of a dispatched employee, Riki, who is troubled when she receives an offer from a colleague to "provide eggs" to make money. When she is interviewed by the Japanese branch of an American reproductive medical agency, the other party proposes "surrogacy" instead of "providing eggs". Former ballet dancer Kusadoki and his wife Yuko are willing to pay a high fee to find a "surrogate mother" who can give birth to two children.
