Plot:
A Tao (Zhang Jingchu) was shocked when she saw her father being killed in a bomb when she was young, and then she became stupid. When she grew up, her aunt A Shui (Li Lizhen) took her to the massage parlor she ran in China to help. A Tao's innocence attracted the favor of Shaba (Danny Lee), a gangster boss who patronized the massage parlor. During a police chase, A Tao accidentally broke into the home of A Xia (Zhang Jiahui), a Yao man. A Xia made a living by doing karaoke business on the street. A Tao's good voice made him see new business opportunities, and A Tao believed that A Xia was her father because he had a mole on his forehead that was the same as his father. A Xia's business improved significantly due to A Tao's joining, and there was a long line of people in front of the stall asking to sing with A Tao. In the process of A Xia and A Tao getting along, the relationship between the two changed subtly. A Xia took a big shot because a lecher took advantage of A Tao, and A Tao was also angry because A Xia was intimate with her lover A Hua. Shaba has always been concerned about the innocent A Tao, and he is determined to take A Tao as his goddaughter. After Shaba's men kidnapped A Tao, A Tao accidentally saw Shaba shooting and was filled with fear of him and fled back to A Xia. Shaba is not a person who will give up easily, and the story becomes complicated because of Shaba's persistence. This film is directed by the famous director Zhang Jiarui, whose three works - "Norma's Seventeen Years Old", "Flower Waist Bride" and "Red River" are collectively known as the "Yunnan Trilogy".
