Plot:
Highly developed industry has brought unprecedented convenience to human life, but at the same time it has pushed the world to the brink of destruction. People are too focused on improving their own living standards and ignore the reasonable protection of the earth on which they depend for survival. As carbon dioxide emissions continue to increase, the world is warming, and the glaciers at the poles are beginning to melt. For ten years, scientists around the world have been warning the world that rising sea levels will eventually submerge human homes, but the real threat is far more than that. Three college students, Adem (Aaron Ashmore), Frederick (Kyle Schmid), and Chen Ling (Steph Song), came to Banks Island in northern Canada to assist ecologist David Klupan (Val Kilmer) in conducting local surveys. They found the body of a polar bear left by Dr. Klupan at the research station. At this time, the doctor and his team had been infected by the mysterious virus carried by the polar bear. As the glaciers melt, this deadly virus also wakes up from eternal sleep...
