Plot:
A Tan (played by Aaron Kwok), who lives in Bangkok's Chinatown and whose parents disappeared in their early years, has longed to join the police force with his friend Feng Ze (played by Liao Qizhi) since he was a child. However, due to his severe myopia, he failed to do so. Unwilling to give up, he became a private detective, but could only take on some small cases of petty thefts. He did not make much money, had a bad reputation, and often had more expenses than income, so he had to rely on Feng Ze for help. One day, A Tan's friend Fei Long (played by Cheng Kui'an) commissioned him to investigate a woman, claiming that he was being hunted by her. Out of curiosity, A Tan found out that the woman was Mo Huixin based on the photo, but strange events occurred one after another when he was looking for relevant insiders: people related to Mo Huixin died one after another, and A Tan was always the first to discover it, and he was simply the incarnation of the god of death. For this reason, Feng Ze tried every means to persuade A Tan to give up the investigation, and even threatened them with their friendship for many years, but A Tan insisted.
