The year is 1975. Togauchi Yutaka (Hidetoshi Nishijima), who works for the Eastern Airline branch in Thailand, is a young, promising, steady and capable "good young man". He is very popular among his colleagues, and his boss Sakurada Zenjiro (Masaya Kato) also appreciates him. In life, Yutaka is about to marry his girlfriend, Hitoko Yuriko (Yuriko Ishida). At such a happy moment, Yutaka meets the beautiful and charming lady Manaka Kutsuko (Miho Nakayama). As if under a spell, Yutaka quickly falls into the lingering love and desire with Kutsuko. He indulges himself in sensuality, forgets the way home, and almost loses his precious love and friendship. Mitsuko knows about Yutaka's affair, so Yutaka has to choose to break up with Kutsuko.
