Plot:
Hong Kong superstar Liu Wei Chi (played by Andy Lau) has been in the film industry for 40 years and has always wanted to win the Best Actor award. He decided to work with director Lin Hao (played by Ning Hao) to shoot a rural-themed film, which would win international fame at the film festival. To this end, Liu Wei Chi went deep into the countryside to experience life, personally solicited investment, and refused to use a stand-in, which led to a series of ridiculous farces that made people laugh and cry, and also showed the various aspects of the entertainment industry.
