Continuing from the plot of the first season, six months later, Bosch returns from suspension. He begins investigating the murder of a Hollywood producer. To investigate, Bosch comes to Las Vegas, where he also discovers that things don't seem to be going well with his teenage daughter and ex-wife. Bosch's investigation almost threatens the lives of his family, and he is also involved in a case of a corrupt police officer.
