Jeff (Jonathan Tucker) and Amy (Jena Malone), Eric (Shawn Ashmore) and Stacy (Laura Ramsey), two young couples who came to Mexico from the United States, are preparing to enjoy their rare vacation. They met Matthias (Joe Anderson) from Germany and his Greek friend Dimitri (Dimitri Baveas) at the swimming pool. Matthias came to find his missing brother, and he invited Amy and others to go with him. The reckless young people were only interested in excitement and readily agreed. They rented a car and came to a desolate place in Mexico. In the mysterious and ancient ruins there, endless terror was quietly approaching them... This film is adapted from the novel "The Ruins" by American writer Scott Smith.
