The drama tells the story of the twists and turns of fate between a man and a woman whose lives are intertwined because of a murder in the past. Jang Ki-yong plays the role of Chae Do-jin, a former police officer who is positive and full of justice. Qin Jizhou plays the role of Lee Tae-ri, who dreams of becoming an actor under the influence of her mother. Although she encounters cruel events, she eventually succeeds in becoming an actor. Nam Da-reum and Yoo Han-bi play the sons of the male and female protagonists. Heo Jun-ho plays a serial killer who is the "key person" connecting the male and female protagonists.
