Plot:
The original idea of this series came from horror film director Mick Garris, who had dinner with a group of industry enthusiasts in California in 2002. They had a great time talking and appreciated each other. After that, Garris called 10 directors and other horror masters to create a horror series together. In 2005, Garris served as both producer and director, creating the "Masters of Horror" series (a total of 26 episodes in two seasons), with one hour per episode. Famous directors such as Don Cascarelli, Stuart Gordon, Takashi Miike, John McNaughton, and Norio Tsuruta participated in the series, jointly presenting a thrilling horror feast for horror film lovers. This series won the 2006 Emmy Award for Outstanding Theme Music, the 2006 Sitges-Catalonian International Film Festival Best Screenplay and the Special Jury Award.
