The play is adapted from Teng Xiaolan's novel of the same name. It is set in a metropolitan financial city and shows a fierce duel between bank rookie Tao Wuji (Bai Yufan), branch vice president Zhao Hui (Yu Hewei) and audit director Miao Che (Wang Xiao) over interests and original intentions. In this contest between love and law, Tao Wuji gradually grows into a new generation of guardian of financial order.
