Emma Roberts will star in Netflix's new romantic comedy "Holidate", directed by John Whitesell ("Upside Down" and "Malibu Kidnapping") and written by Tiffany Paulsen ("Nancy Drew"). Focusing on Sloane and Jackson, two people who have always been single, they hate the holidays because they always lack a partner, which forces them to face the judgment of their families or fall into clingy and awkward dates. However, after they meet, they promise to be each other's companions in a year of holiday celebrations.
