Private investigator Marissa Wong is forced to team up with Sarah Winchester, a fresh college graduate with no experience. In each episode, this unlikely duo works hard to solve clients' cases that are often far more dangerous than they appear at first glance. Marissa is a scruffy, somewhat unscrupulous former cop who is furious when her detective agency partner hires his niece as her driver. Sarah is always conscious of following a code of ethics, and her overflowing enthusiasm is infuriating. Yet Marissa begins to grudgingly admit that Sarah can be helpful in solving cases, and that she possesses traits that Marissa severely lacks, like people skills, attention to detail, and a valid driver's license. Although from different worlds, they work seamlessly together to solve mysteries and catch bad guys.
