Plot:
13-year-old black kid Chris (Tyler James Williams) lives in Brooklyn, New York. His family has Julius (Terry Crews), an extremely stingy father who works several menial jobs to support his family, his vain, capable and loud-voiced mother Rochelle (Tichina Arnold), and a pair of troublesome siblings Drew (Tequan Richmond) and Tonya (Imani Hakim). When he reached school age, Chris was sent to a white school by his strict mother. As expected, he was bullied, but he was lucky enough to make a good friend - Greg (Vincent Martella), who was also a punching bag because of his thinness and paleness. Every day from home to school, he was equally noisy and helpless. Chris always faced all this with a self-deprecating spirit... The prototype of "Chris" in this play is Emmy Award winner and comedy star Chris Rock (Chris Rock), and he himself was the monologue.
