It is their job to stop bank robberies, rescue firefighters, and prevent monsters from destroying the city. The Powerpuff Girls are ruthless to criminals and monsters. They almost always beat them up and then throw them into jail or hand them over to the police. The Powerpuff Girls have their own hotline, and there are extensions at the City Hall, Little Oak Kindergarten, and Teacher Ginny's home. When a crime occurs, it is usually the mayor who calls the Powerpuff Girls.
