Junior high school student Mirai Onozawa (voiced by Reimi Hanamura) is a rebellious girl. Although she has a happy family and a lovely younger brother Yuki Onozawa (voiced by Yumiko Kobayashi), the peaceful life day after day makes Mirai feel very tired. On this day, everything changed. A super earthquake with a magnitude of 8.0 occurred in Tokyo. The streets and facilities familiar to Mirai collapsed in an instant, and the surroundings were filled with crying and wailing people. In order to reunite with their lost parents, Mirai and Yuki decided to move towards home. On the way, the siblings met the mature and steady motorcycle rider Mari Kusakabe (voiced by Masami Takigawa), and the three decided to act together. While experiencing crises such as fire, aftershocks, and diseases, Mirai gradually understood the meaning of family and love.
