Stella (Elizabeth Banks), a beautiful town teacher, was taken care of by the local rich man Grant (Michael Rooker) after her mother passed away. After marrying him, despite many dissatisfactions, she still worked hard to become a qualified wife. After a quarrel between the two, Grant ran away in anger and was invaded by a mysterious alien creature. He returned home early the next morning with a drastic change in his temperament. At the same time, the town's pet dogs began to disappear mysteriously, and Brenda (Brenda James), a girl who had drunk with Grant in the bar, also disappeared. After discovering Grant's face that began to rot and mutate, the terrified Stella turned to the town's sheriff Bill and the police officers (Nathan Fillion), but everyone was frightened and Grant escaped. Everyone decided to hunt Grant on a nearby farm, but they didn't expect that this would lead to the spread of strange creatures, and the entire town was in extreme danger.
