Plot:
Vera Phillips (Keira Knightley) and Caitlin Thomas (Sienna Miller) build a deep friendship in the fall of love for the talented poet Dylan Thomas (Matthew Rhys). On the one hand, Vera is Thomas's childhood sweetheart soul friend. She first met Thomas but eventually married the officer William Crick (Cillian Murphy) because of Thomas's inability to be loyal. During William's expedition, he used his military allowance to maintain Thomas's huge living expenses. On the other hand, Catherine is Thomas's wife who never leaves him. Although she is tortured by Thomas's promiscuity again and again, she always loves him deeply. Vera, Catherine and Thomas maintained an incomprehensible ambiguous relationship during the war, until William, who had returned from the front, heard about the affair between Vera and Thomas and pointed his gun at Thomas in anger... The film is adapted from the life story of the British genius poet Dylan Thomas. The film won the Best Costume Design Award at the Welsh Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards.
