Masaharu Fukuyama plays Hiromi Minami, an FBI investigator who came to Japan temporarily from the United States. He lost his eyesight due to an accident in the past, but he can use his keen analytical ability, sense of smell and touch to solve the case. He is the last trump card in the FBI known as "LASTMAN". Yo Oizumi plays Shintaro Goto, the head of the Talent Exchange Planning Office of the National Police Agency who is assigned to Minami. Shintaro, whose family has served as the chief of the National Police Agency for generations, has an absolute sense of justice and is willing to do anything to catch the criminal. These two form a partnership to solve the case together.
