Cinemax announced the renewal of "StrikeBack" for its eighth and final season. The first season of this drama was a British drama produced by Sky1. Later, it was bought by Cinemax and the style was changed, becoming one of Taiwan's famous dramas. Shortly after the end of the drama in 2015, the drama was revived in 2017 in the form of a reboot.
